Hi, I’m Kelly! After leaving (or at least pausing?) my career in the corporate world, I’m building a portfolio career and pursuing goals I’ve put on the back burner for too long. Life’s too short for wasted dreams.

The Tea Library is a place for slowing down, settling in, and savoring words and—of course—tea. It’s for anyone who:

  • Sees life as an exercise in vulnerability

  • Romanticizes every day

  • Is pursuing big dreams

  • Is reinventing themselves or navigating new phases of life

  • Finds joy in travel and art

  • Loves coming home as much as traveling

The name refers to my favorite room in my house. Others might call it a sunroom, but I finally realized I can call things whatever I want. So, it’s my tea library, and it’s perfect.

When you leave The Tea Library, I hope you’ll feel inspired in the same way you might feel after connecting with a friend—that’s what we’re doing, after all.

Pull up a chair and get cozy—I’m so glad you’re here.

We’ll explore growth, reinvention, relationships, travel, culture, and career though:

  • Personal essays

  • Friends of the Library Series: Q&A interviews

  • Tea Library Book Stacks Series: Book reviews and roundups

The Tea Library is mostly free, but some things will be paywalled. Whether you’re a free or paid subscriber, I’m so happy you’re here.

Free subscribers have access to:

  • All free posts (usually 2-3 per month)

Paid subscribers have access to:

  • Additional posts and resources that go beyond free content (travel itineraries, more personal essays, etc)

  • Full archive of posts

  • All my gratitude—your support makes this possible
